by najiramlee on May 8, 2010

As always Ferrari gives its best in creating supercars marking the very latest technology and innovation they have and letting the world see not just their engineers’ and designers’ intelligence, wit and creativity but also their passion for the industry they are in and the stuff they build putting on every inch of effort, interest and enthusiasm they have to create a one of a kind supercar the many would love.

360 Spider conquering the wild roads

Providing their costumers and the car enthusiasts with what they want, the 2002 575M Maranello exemplifies Ferrari’s expertise in bringing out front-engined sports berlinetta. It even marked a new level of Ferrari’s achievement in building one of its most traditional concept, the V12 front-engined rear-wheel drive berlinetta.

Resulting from successive proliferation of power and torque the 5750 cc effective displacement became an inspiration on naming the unit. Primarily, that is the very reason and of course the meaning or rather the abbreviation of 575 on its name. While the M extended to it stands for modified which means that the overall performance was enhanced. It also marks the introduction of the F1 style gear change in a road-going V12-engined Ferrari.

Its engine can now deliver a raging maximum power of 515 hp at 7250 rpm and maximum torque of 588 Nm at 5250 rpm. It has four valves per cylinder with twin overhead camshafts per bank, a Bosch Motronic conjoined electronic static ignition/fuel injection system, and a dry sump lubrication system.

It has a tubular frame and both its front and rear suspensions are equipped of independent, unequal-length wishbones, coil springs, telescopic shock absorbers with electronic adaptive damping, and anti roll-bar. You can take a pick between manual or electro-hydraulic F1 6-speed plus reverse.

On the inside, you can see a sporty and functional interior. It is completely redesigned to keep up with its highly increased performance.  Dials are now grouped into one single pod located ahead of the driver with the rev counter on its center. Also new are the rack and pinion steering wheel, the seats, the door trims, and the over all style of its interior.

This two seater berlinetta weighs 1730 kg (kerb). Yet heaviness doesn’t keep it from letting you reach 100 km/h from zero in just 4.25 seconds with a manual gearbox and 4.20 seconds with an F1 gearbox. This is made possible due to the finest weight distribution with a fifty-fifty split between the axles and with the driver aboard accomplished with the help of the effective transaxle design featuring a combined rear mounted gearbox and differential unit with a conical torque and autolocking differential in the same component.

You may also be riding on it at a roaring 325 km/h top speed.

The 575M Maranello categorically has an overall modification finishing it out to near perfection at its time making it a great investment for anyone who would want to buy it. It had been devised with even more developed vehicle dynamics and technology.

Regret is not in the vocabulary of this supercar. Every fortune you invest in this car from buying it to its maintenance and tuning up is all worth it. It lets you feel like you are the most special person on earth, well it may be an exaggeration but who cares? This is a great car and driving in it would really be great pleasure.

You may buy it at a cheaper price with several mileage on its counter which really isn’t an issue for a used Ferrari 575M Maranello will always be as good as new with the knowledge that it had been loved and well taken care of by its prior owner.

Buy the 2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello and get grooving down the streets!
